Additional SQL Querry in the report

Post by Bert_L_(Guest) » Wed Jan 23, 2002 1:55 pm

I am running R&R for Windows, SQL version 9.0 Build 9.0.009. I have an existing report that is working fine. I need to place in the summary, a SQL querry that is independent from the main querry i.e. that looks from a different Oracle table/instance. The SQLEXP() function is limited on functionality. ____Can I do this with your tool or is this a ^wishlist^ for your future release.____My alternative is to use Oracle Report for this requirement since I can create independent querries.____Thanks

R&R is currently limited to a single SELECT per report.____Kathleen__R&R Support

We do a lot of reports that require summary information from another unrelated table. Maybe you could also solve the problem by doing a multi-scan report (there^s information on how to do this in the Tech Docs area I believe)?
