Post by Morris_Evans_(Guest) » Wed Nov 06, 2002 9:01 am

Using rswrun on an XP machince, via ODBC against a MS Sql database on the same pc, causes an GPF.__Same report, run on same pc, but against a MS Sql database on a Windows 2000 pc, works OK. (Same data in databases, same set up of databases, same ODBC driver)____Any ideas ?____Morris.____

Is it only with runtime or do you see the same problem in the report designer?____Kathleen__R&R Support

Are you using a control file? If so, what values are being set?____Kathleen__R&R Support

A text control file containing:____RI_REPORT=Picking List__RI_LIBRARY=SOPUTILS__RI_NOESC=F__RI_PRINTER=?__RI_QUERY=S__RI_DISPERR=T__RI_STATUS=T__RI_WPTR=?__RI_DSOURCE=MS_SQL_DB____Addtionally, the command line sets the username/password for the database. The Datasource is set up as a System DSN. Program is being run by an administrator of the PC.
