Locking/protecting an RRW?

Report Writer v. 9 xbase____Is there any way to lock/protect an RRW file so that it can only run the report and not be looked at/opened within Report Designer? I would like a competitor to be able to run a report/see the output but not be able to open it and steal my ideas. This person has their own copy of the program.

The only thing you could do would be to make the file read-only but there would be nothing to prevent the other user from removing the read-only flag.____Kathleen__R&R Support
