R&R10 Opens Slowly

Hi,____We run R&R10 on machines running Windows XP and Win 2K, the machines that run 2K open R&R very quickly, the XP machines however take an age to even display the splash screen. Is this something that a lot of people are experiencing? and is there a quick and easy solution??____Thanks____Chris

It doesnt matter whether or not we use the program group or double click the exe

Chris,____I don^t know if this will help, but in my experience, XP is slower timing out on shares it cannot find or printers it cannot find. Are the default directory locations valid on the XP PC? __If they are, is there a local printer? If not, create a dummy local printer but do not set it to be the default.____HTH____Dave Francis

Hi,____We have three netwrk printers in the office, all of which are installed and configured on each users PC. ____I^ll try the local printer thing though.____Thanks Dave :)
