parameteRR Field problem

I am using SQL Server 2000.__I have R&R ReportWorks Ver 11 build 11.0.001____My problem is that I have defined a parameteRR Field as Character.__When I use this parameter in my filter, it gets wrapped in double quotes, which make the SQL think that its value is a column name.____Is there some setting I need to make? Is this a known bug? Do I need an upgrade?____This is the first report I have developed using this version. We have other reports developed in older versions of report writer that do this exact thing. When I pull these reports up in Ver 11, they work correctly.____Thanks, in advance.____Richard
