Paper Tray

Post by Smzemke_(Guest) » Wed Aug 24, 2005 12:46 pm

I have printers setup to print to a specific tray. I^m having a problem where, when I try to print to a printer (HP LaserJet) which is conifgured to print to Tray 2 (or 3), the report automatically pulls it from the manual feed tray, and we have to go out and press the button on the printer in order for it to print.____I^ve found that by going through the properties button (at the print screen), we can change it to the correct tray it will print to the correct tray. Or, if I change the (default) printer (which is set to Tray 2), to a different printer, and then change it back to the default printer, it will then print to the correct page.____Is there anyway to get RR to recognize the different tray configurations automatically without having to go through properties, or reselecting at the print screen?____Thanks

Tray support has long been a flaw in R&R. We hope to address this problem in a future update. A user has recently given us some good clues on how we might solve this problem so hopefully the fix will be in the near future.____Kathleen__R&R Support

It has been my experience that you need to print to the specific prniter.
