Dual monitor problem

We recently upgraded our office to dual flat screen monitors. The problem is that R&R Report Writer doesn^t work properly when on the right monitor. Some buttons are missing and so we recommend that users use it on the left monitor only. Today a user reported that she cannot get R&R to open on the left monitor. Instead, even if it was last maximized or minimized on the left, it opens persistently on the right when next launched, and opens in a strange, narrow window that can be resized (i.e. not maximized or minimized). All other users have successfully gotten the program to open on the left monitor only. Is this a known issue and do you have any suggestions about how to fix it?
