Error C0000005 VFP7Rerr.log
Dear all!__Hope someone could help us.__Updated to Version 12 ____Every time opening or running a report (xbase or sql) we receive the error:____Fatal error: Exception code=C0000005 @ 09/25/06 09:43:37 AM. Error log file: C:WINDOWSsystem32VFP7Rerr.log____The log file is existing and each message above is logged there.____Reports are running after this message. in addition we have problems with older xbase reports - with relation on recordnumbers. (like abs(1)is the linking field to a recordnumber in another table) These reports do not run on "rapidrunner" only in designer. ______Systems:__XP pro SP2 German__Server 2003 SP1 German____Greetings from Vienna, Austria__Alexander__

Try adding the lines:____Dictionary=0__Librarian=OFF____to the DEFAULTS section of the file c:windows
sw.ini and see if this solves the first problem.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Dear Kathleen!____You are right - it solved the first topic - Thank You!____The second issue is still there; we tested a little while but no good results on this. perhaps is there a connection between RR Designer xbase 12.0 and Rapidrunner 11.0 (old??) which came with RR 12?____Try a calculated field named ABSREL with formula abs(1) and join this to another table with 1 or 2 records on the recordnumber. Run in Desinger ... will work. Safe it and run in Rapidrunner ... will fail. We have some Reports designed with RR 9.0 which such joins.____Greetings__Alexander

I just tried a report with an ABSREL() relation based on record number and it worked fine for me in RapidRunner. So I am not sure why it would not work for you. If you want, I can send you my test report and set.______Kathleen__R&R Support__livesupport@livewarepub.com
