General Print Spooler Error

Post by Louis_Drapeau_(Guest) » Tue May 20, 2003 2:52 pm

Hi,____I^m getting this error on a random (seems to be) basis, about one each 5 runs or so. Win98 256M RAM xBase files on a Novell 3.12 server (accessed from the workstation - standard microsoft client). Other clients in win 2000 are not getting this error. Has anyone ever got this error?____Thanks, LD____

>manfai: __>__>Could you please drop me a line at manfai@louisdrapeau.com __>(leave me a phone number if possible), I would like to __>discuss this issue with you and see if we can point to __>something commun and try to resolve this. ________My problem suddenly disappeared as my Win2K Server upgraded to SP4 and with the newer (not sure) printer driver.____However, when I upgrade my own workstation with SP4, my system crashed totally. And now I built a Intel 2.4 Ghz system for myself. The old one gave to another user.____The problem has not appeared since then.____Still not too sure how this is solved but I think upgrading the server to SP4 may be the clude. Other than this is I changed to a Intel system from AMD.____manfai__
