Multiple Scan Report

Post by Ros_(Guest) » Thu Aug 11, 2005 5:07 am

I^ve read the the entire chapter on above topics a number of times.____To create a multiple scan report, I need to __1) Set "Scan table" in Band Line Properties __and/or__2) Set "Group" in Database -> Relations ____However, I found both button for Scan/Group DEACTIVATED. ____I am using R&R for Windows Xbase Edition v6.5.08. Is it available in this version or have I miss out an important step?____It will be great if anyone can forward a sample multiple scan report.____Thank you.__bhng@mcsb.com______

The Group button for relations only is activated when a report contains more than one scan relation from the same parent table.____So if customer is your master and you create a scan to from customer to orders and a second scan from customer to payments then you have a multiple scan.____But if you have a scan from customer to orders and then a second scan from orders to ordered items then the report does have 2 scan but it is are not a multiple scan.____Kathleen__R&R Support
