ARPEGGIO vs. StarTeam Encryption

We recently upgraded our source control system (StarTeam); with ARPEGGIO installed (ever - doesn^t matter whether currently installed), StarTeam refuses to let me log in unless I deselect encryption. Get all kinds of weird errors & crashes, which aren^t yours to debug of course, but my question is "Are there any known relationships between or among ARPEGGIO supporting files and commonly used encryption schemes that might explain this?" I^ve been searching for Meyers & Ballard and have lost track of them, and ran across this site finally - Hi Kathleen! Duncan must be quite grown up now.
