OCX (newbie needs a pacifier)

Onward...____the OCX is installed and available in design.__But the Control Properties Dialog isn^t using the properties set by me.__For example: I set the General tab->ReportName. And the dialogue completes all the other relevant info (joins, sorts etc.) Click Apply. Change the report dest to preview window, set the preview window dimensions. Apply it, OK it.____Save the whole thing and Run it -- and it still comes up and asks me to Open a report. and then ignores everything I^ve told it (ie. preview) and sends it to the printer.____You^d think that it just _didn^t_ keep the properties I set -- but subsequently reviewing the Control properties again shows that they are still set. I^ve tried Report Pick set to None and 1. No difference.____Woe, oh Woe, oops, I mean where or where am I going wrong. Can anybody help?____thanks for any ideas, Bryan__
