PDF driver

Post by Jeannie » Fri May 07, 2004 3:19 pm

Just installed the PDF from the installer supplied with R&R 10+ cd on an XP machine. I then deleted the cdintf.dll as recommended here in answer to another post.__But the printer shows as "PDF Compatible Printer Driver", not "R&R PDF Export". __The docs state that "R&R PDF Export" must be used.__Obviously, sending "R&R PDF Export" as the printer bombed. __The printing is set up using a dbf variable table.____What^s what?____Can the printer name differ depending on how the printer is installed, the OS, or what?____Jeannie

If you run install without a specific printer name, then the default name is PDF Compatible Printer Driver. __If you run the command line:__install "R&R PDF Export"____Then you assign the driver name. But you can really use any name as long as the name you use in the control file matches the installed printer name.____Regards,__Kathleen__R&R Support__
