Printing on W2K Pro to HP LJ 2200DN

Post by G_R_Ondovchak_(Guest) » Fri Jan 17, 2003 5:51 pm

I have a client using the R&R Runtime V9.0.008 on a windows 2000 professional workstation with a local HP Laserjet 2200DN printer. When they use the HP PCL V6 or V5e driver from HP with this printer it does not automatically eject the page when the printing is completed. They get a red warning light flashing on the printer and they have to hit the "go" button to get the page to print. If they use the HP LJ III driver which comes with windows it will print fine.____Anyone have any ideas why this would be and how to make it work properly with the PCL drivers?

Pragmatically you should stick to the HP LJ III driver.__The root of the problem may be a bug in R&R if all other apps print correctly.____Kathleen__R&R Support

That^s the first thing I suggested. Unfortunately my customers aren^t very pragmatic. If there isn^t a later revision for V9 then I guess I^ll have to try V10 and see if that will help.____Thanks.__
