Progress ODBC - numeric field reads 1/10 value

Post by Robert_(Guest) » Tue Jun 05, 2001 9:31 am

I^m using R&R SQL v9 and reading a Progress database using the Merant ODBC driver. I^m reading an array variable, a special Progress data structure and its value reads as 1/10 its true value. When I use Crystal Reports to read same fields, they read correctly - so it seems to be some particular interaction of R&R, ODBC, and Progress. ???____Thanks to anyone who can help.____-Robert

This is not one that I have heard of before.__Something must be throwing off our precision.__I will log this one in our bug database.__Our ODBC connectivity layer is actually through an earlier Merant/Data Direct library that might not be up to handling new data types appropriately.______Kathleen__R&R Support
