R&R crashing with certain printers

Hello,____We have a customer who is using a Xerox Phaser 6115MFP printer and who reports that whenever they try to print certain reports rrwrun crashes. Other reports work fine, but certain reports cannot be printed at all. The reports can be viewed on screen, but not printed. If they use a different printer the reports print normally. The common factor seems to be that the problem reports contain images, while the reports that can be printed do not. Unfortunately images are a basic part of what we need to convey in our reports, they are not window dressing.____This isn^t the first time we^ve encountered this, where R&R doesn^t seem to be compatible with a particular printer, yet every other application works fine. It doesn^t happen often, but it does happen occasionally. I have seen other posts in this forum as well to the same effect. ____What would cause this behavior? Would a newer version of rrpd.dll do anything to fix the problem (we are using R&R version 9). I know you changed your image support library from snowbound software to LeadTools, and you must have had a good reason for doing so (very curious to know what it was). Would newer versions that use the LeadTools library be less likely to have these problems? ____It^s surprising that a product for which the sole reason for being is to convey information has such a fundamental problem as compatibility issues with certain printer models. This is a difficult problem for us as because there doesn^t seem to be a fix when this happens, other than "buy a new printer and see if that works". In this case the user is a new customer, and it^s not going to reflect well on us if we have to tell them that our product just doesn^t work with their printer. It^s not like they^re using some no-name or obscure printer, and all their other applications work fine.____Any help with this would be appreciated.____Thanks__Paul DeCou
