Rapid Runner Crash

Post by tom_morrow » Thu Jan 06, 2005 6:08 pm

Hello,__Some of my report sets now cause Rapid Runner V2.0.0003 to crash with this error:____RapidRun.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x77fcc3f6" referenced memory at "0x0016e1fd". The memory could not be "written".____I am running R&R Xbase Build 10.1.003 on Windows Server 2000.____The problem started after Jan. 1, 2005. Could it have something to do with the new year? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.____Thanks & Regards,__Thomas Morrow

If you want to email your set file to me, that might be a start.____Kathleen__R&R Support__kfleming@livewarepub.com

Kathleen,____Thanks for the reply. I did more experimentation today and have resolved the problem although I do not know how it started.____The problem was apparently related to some individual reports in the sets even though they all ran fine when run individually with R&R. What each of the problem reports seem to have in common is that they use a Relation with a FlexLink index. To resolve the issue I opened each of the reports with R&R, edited the Relationships (didn_t change anything, just went into the Edit screen for each one), and then saved the report. This apparently caused something to get rebuilt/refreshed and now the reports are again running fine in a set.____Thanks again for your quick responses and efforts.____Regards,____Thomas Morrow____
