SPEED PROBLEM FIRST REPORT R&R 9.0

HI,____our software sends three reports to R&R, dbf based including 4 records.__The first report takes 28 seconds to complete, the next two reports take normal time to complete. The only difference between the three reports are the titles, fixed embedded text in each report.__How can we speed up the first report ?____We print to a network (IP based) printer.____Can anyone halp us ?

This may be a dumb question but have you tested running the reports in a different order and checking that the same report still takes much longer than the others.____When you run them in R&R Designer itself do they take the same amount of time to run ?____Simon Bray.
