SQL R&R

Post by thlabounty » Mon Jun 27, 2005 4:38 pm

Hello!__I am fairly new to Report Writer. I have to convert about 80 reports to read SQL instead of DBase4. Can someone give me the basic generic SQL layout of the control file and the shortcut command line? I have the old ones, but cannot get them to work. I know I probably have to change the name of Master, but I don^t know the syntax. I would be much appreciative of any help!!! Thanks!__-Tom LaBounty

The help file describes the structure of the control file and its available values. But first you have to convert the reports and then open them in the SQL version to verify that the conversion is complete. For many reports you may need to make designer adjustments after performing the conversion.____Kathleen__R&R Support
