Trying to turn off Trusted Connections in Win2k

We have R&R 8.1 SQL, running off an NT server. Our 95 boxes work fine - but any new 2000 prof. boxes come up with ^SQL State 28000^ and ^SQL Server Error 18456^ errors, after selecting the Data source to use.____The data source set up is exactly the same between the 95 and 2000 machines, yet the 95 machines don^t error.____The system data source is set up to use SQL security. The same data source is being used by the database application correctly.____Please help - it looks like I^ve missed such an obvious thing somewhere along the line.____We^re using TCP/IP.

Can you give me quick summary how I can do this? I^ve gone into access but see no obvious ways of connecting.

Also - there^s nothing that^s supposed to go in the RSW.INI file for this sort of thing is there?____The database application is using the same data source - and it is NOT using the NT authentication.____The data source is definitely set up to use SQL security.

Open Access, create/select a database select the Tables object and the select New from the menu. In the New Table dialog select Import Table and Ok. Then in the import dialog, change the bottom selection box for Files of Type to the choice ODBC databases (). This will then allow you to select the data source.____If it works correctly, Access will present a list of the tables that are contained in that datasource.____Kathleen__R&R Support
