converting old reports

i have some old *.rp1 files to convert to the new version 9 software. I`m having problems taking across the boxes etc that were in the old format. Can anyone suggest the best way of converting these documents to version 9? I have only been using the package for 1 day but i am working against a fairly tight time limit, therfore any help no matter how simple would be appreciated.
