Condition cannot depend on a total

Hi All,____I^m using version 10. I have a report that looks at transactions and if specific types of line items exist within a transaction I need to total them. ____The only method I come up with is to create a total that resets and accumulates the transaction level based on a condition. That works great. Now based on those records I need to only report on some of them but when I add a condition to a total I get the error "Condition cannot depend on a total".____How can I accomplish this?____Thanks____Mark____
