Converting XBase Reports to SQL

Post by Pauline_Pearce_(Guest) » Wed Mar 23, 2005 11:46 am

Hi,__We are attempting to run "Converting XBase Reports to SQL" for a couple of our reports which are written in R&R 10. Note, we have successfully created new reports on the same SQL data.____The problem is that some of our reports give an error "ERROR file read error on <report name>". The report is not open - any idea why we would be getting this?____Also, other reports seem to run through and give relation errors which are listed from the "Report Conversion Wizard". On opening these reports, even after pointing to the SQL table we get a DB Access error and are unable to continue to resolve the relation errors.____Any help would be appreciated - we do not really want to have to re-write all of our reports.__Thanks in advance,__Pauline __

Try using the RRCNVRT.EXE conversion utility instead of the conversion wizard and see if that helps.____Kathleen__R&R Support
