Cougar 10/Cougar 6 Problem

We have been using Cougar Mountain software v6 with RR report writer 6 for the last year or so. and everything has been running smoothly. We recently upgraded to Cougar Mountain 10 and RR report writer 10. Now after coverting the rp5 files to rrws we are having troubles. first of all is all our edit reports will not run. they come up with "Invaild Value in RI_ALIAS2". In version 6, we opened the report we wanted and saved it overtop the orginal edit report and it would run. Now when we open report writer and try to save as or just save it crashes saying something about "LOCALS~1Temp2687_appcompat.txt" . Even when we try to create a new report, when you try to save it Report Writer crashes. This happens on diffent machines too.

Try adding the line:____LIBRARIAN=OFF ____to the DEFAULTS section of C:windowsRRW.INI and see if that helps.____Kathleen__R&R Support
