I am using Xbase version 9. Is it possible to use clookup using only the first x characters of an index? Thank you very much.

Afraid not. The lookup functions require an exact full match to the lookup index. A partial match is not possible so you would need to alternatively build a partial match relation to the lookup table.____Kathleen__R&R Support
