can^t select a master table

Post by TIM » Mon Apr 24, 2006 10:21 am

R&R for SQL 10 , Build 10.1.001 I^m using the Data Direct driver to connect to my SQL database. When I get to the point where I should select a master table, I can^t see the tables in the db. The only choice is <<system tables>>. My db has tables such as Customer & Supplier. ____How do I get my tables to show up in that list?____I know the tables are there, I^ve verified this through a variety of non R&R means.

When you set up the data source, did you click the Options button and select a database as the login default?____Kathleen__R&R Support

I^ve tried it both ways:__1) Using the options button to specify the db__2) not specifying it in that manner__Same result: I can see system tables, but not the others.____The ^owners^ drop down box is grayed out. I wonder if that has something to do with it. I^m using a SQL username and password, not NT authentication.____I can also report that I can see the expected tables if I use the MS SQL driver. Of course, the MS driver has its own problems. ____

Prior to all of this, I did not have NTWDBLIB.DLL on my R&R machine. I copied that file from my SQL server and put it in C:WINNTSYSTEM32\____The version of NTWDBLIB.DLL is 8.00.194 dated 8/6/2000____Could that be a problem?

Can you send NTWDBLIB.DLL in version (1998.11.13.0)?____Some usergroup writings show that the newer version might be a problem.
