Export ^Text^ or ^Text Data File^ ?

Export ^Text^ or ^Text Data File^ ?

Kathleen,____ My enviro: RRW 9.0 and Clipper ____ I^m making a report to be simply exported to a .csv file. When selecting Export Type, I have the two choices: ^Text^ or ^Text Data File^.____Question: What is the difference between these two choices please.______TIA,____-Mel Smith__

Text is a page oriented export that sends the entire report to a ASCII file. Text data is a band oriented export where you select a single band line and export a formatted line of data fields generally for import into another program.____Kathleen__R&R Support
