R&R slowing down other application

Hi there.____We have a client who has R&R in a server installation. They also use our VFP 6.0 database application in conjuntion with R&R. When they have R&R open and are using our app simultaneously the speed is much reduced in our app. With R&R closed the speed is normal. The strange thing is that if one user is experiencing speed problems this does not affect any other users. For the effect to be seen you only have to have a report open.____Does anyone have nay thoughts as to why this may be happening? Or indeed how to reslove it?____Thanks in advance.____Eddie

Are you previewing or just printing the reports in your application?____Kathleen__R&R Support

The client is previewing and printing reports. But you don^t have to be doing this to experience the speed problems in our application.____Eddie

There is an issue with print preview consuming 100% CPU cycles but in most cases this does not cause a problem for any other running applications.____Kathleen__R&R Support

This does appear to be the problem (a misunderstanding between me and the client). However, the running of Print Preview is clearly affecting the speed of our application (and presumably others). Can you tell me when this may be fixed as it is causing our client real hardship.____Thanks for your time.____Eddie

No definite timeframe for the fix but it is indeed on the list.__What O/S is being used? Are you running a thin client like Citrix?____Kathleen__R&R Support

The O/S is Win98 SE and the machines are on a Novell Netware network using NetWare 4.11. They are not using a thin client.____Hope this helps.
