Reportworks question

Post by David_R_(Guest) » Thu Sep 14, 2006 5:31 pm

Does Reportworks work reliably with HP all-in-one printers?__RR10 certainly does not. Have you gotten the print driver __issues fixed in this version that has been a problem for__years?__Thanks__

Which specific printer driver issues? ReportWorks Infinity may address some of them. Let me know so I can set your expectations of what benefits an upgrade would provide.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Hi Kathleen__For example, the hp psc 2175 printer, on some computers it works,__on some it works for a short time then stops. No errors of any kind,__just goes thru the motions but won^t print. And we^re talking about a local printer, usb connected. The same computer will print to an hp laserjet 4000 on the LAN. And what about the "rrwrun.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows" error? Has that been corrected? When that starts happening, it^s very difficult to fix.__Sometimes we have to re-install windows and everything else to fix it.__I^ve been using R&R for 10 years, but I^m not going to upgrade from V10 unless I am convinced most of these problems have been addressed.__Thanks__

Have you tried deleting or renaming the all occurences of the file CDINTF.DLL to see if that helps?____Kathleen__R&R Support
