Memory errors - Reportworks

Post by Nick » Sat Sep 23, 2006 9:40 am

I can^t seem to get Reportworks 11 and now Infinity to run long enough to experience their great new features.____I have installed the updates, added the PDFPrinter line to my ini, and have tried various autosave settings. I have encountered this on more than on PC. I am running Windows XP SP2 with plenty of Ram.____None of these things seems to resolve the problem.____The error I get frequently is ____The instruction at 0x7c9111de referenced memory at 0x20d04fe0. The memory cant be read. Click OK to terminate or cancel to Debug.____I am hopeful that there is a fix I am missing, because the programs crash so much that they are at a minimum, annoying if Autosave is on, and borderline unusable.____Nick

If you disable auto-save, do the problems go away?____Kathleen__R&R Support

I have tried autosave at various issues, but never turned it off due to the instability (and losing work).____I will attempt to turn it off and click Save after each action, since I never know which action is going to crash the application.____I will let you know if that corrects the problem.
