Can I use R&R on this?
Is it possible to create a report using a .adp file? It is a file MS Access uses to access a SQL server database (not a linked database).____I am trying to access the SQL server database with R&R but when I try to create a new report, I get an error that says the database does not exist or I don^t have authorization. The ODBC link tests fine and since I can access the data directly with the .adp file, I obviously have permissions.____ANy ideas?____

So if I can^t find a way to access the SQL Server database through ODBC, I am SOL?

You should be able to get there through an ODBC connection as long as you have sufficient privileges.____What error do you see when you try to connect via ODBC in R&R and what ODBC driver are you using?____Kathleen__R&R Support

The driver I use is the MS SQL Server driver. I set up the ODBC connection and I hit the test button and I get no errors and it says everything is working.____I try to create a blank report, I select the ODBC connection, it waits several seconds and I get an error that says____Connection failed__SQLstate ^010000^__SQL server error: 233__[Microsoft][ODBC SQL server driver][DBNETLIB]connectionOpen(COnnect())__COnnection failed__SQLstate ^080000^__SQL server error: 17__[Microsoft][ODBC SQL server driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied____I can connect to the SQL database by linking tables to an Access .mdb using the same ODBC connection, so I am assuming the permissions are there.________
