Accessing tables exported as .dbf

Post by Gene_B_(Guest) » Tue Apr 29, 2008 10:55 am

I am writing R&R reports using version 12 and pulling data from an SQL database. In order to get all of the correct information on a report I need to export information to a .dbf table and then want to access this table from another report. When I am in my final report, I am trying to set up the join to the .dbf table but this table does not show in the available tables listing (only the .dbo tables show).____How do I set up my data so I can join to this .dbf table from within another R&R SQL report using the join function?____Thanks for your help !

You need to export all of the data you want to use in the second report to DBF files and your final report has to be an Xbase report using Flexlink to join the exported DBF^s.____Kathleen__R&R Support
