Force data directory

Post by MIke_Csom_(Guest) » Fri Jun 13, 2008 2:11 pm

Is there any way to force R&R to use a certain data directory using runtime? Can I just put the path somewhere instead of the master and all the relational tables?____Thanks,____Mike

The default data folder in the INI or on the command line will only take effect if the data cannot be found in the folder where the data was when the report was saved.______Kathleen__R&R Support

Kathleen:____I found that if I put a path only in the ri_master field that R&R would use that directory if the file in the report could be found there. Is this true? If so, do the related tables and indexes follow suit?____Thanks,____Mike

If the related tables/indexes were saved in the same folder as the master file, then that would hold true.____Kathleen__R&R Support
