format date parameterr

I^m using a parameterr field for a report with a choice for the user to choose or change some date. The default format date that I choose is dd/mm/yyyy. When the parameterr value entry window appear, the new value appear like mm/jj/yyyy...why and what can I do if I want the other format ?____(sorry for my english, you can reply in french if you want)

You can change the display format for a date parameteRR but not the actual entry requirement.____One option however would be to create a character parameteRR field and add validation that would force your users to enter the date string in a specific format.____You could then use a calculated field to convert the character parameteRR to an actual date.____Kathleen__R&R Support
