"Cannot open control file" error

Hello,____We are testing with several versions of R&R: 6-8-9-10-12.__We are using the same control DBF for the different versions.__When opening a report within a RP5 file report 6 & report 8 are doing fine. When opening the same report with the same control file, verions 9-10 and 12 are giving the error "Cannot open control file".____What can be the reason of this?____greets & thanks__M@ttie
