OCX in Delphi; groupfields problem

I am having trouble with some of my R&R Xbase(v. 9.0.009) reports that are called from a Delphi 6 program using the custom control. The error message I receive is "Unknown or ambiguous group field ^xxx^". This error does not occur in a report on a single master table with multiple group levels but, if I add a related table (in the design software), and use one of its fields as a group level, then I get this error. Of course, the report writer itself has no problem with the report. I have tried setting the "groupfields[0]" and "groupfieldsstring" properties at runtime but still get the error.__I do not completely understand the documentation for these properties. Why should there be a " /-" for a group field? I have tried setting the properties both with and without " " and "-" but get the same message.____Does anyone have a similar problem or know the solution?____Thanks.
