Printing Options

While I^m on this posting spree...____We have some printers which can print duplex, staple, etc. When we print from programs other than R&R, all of these functions work fine. When I set the printer properties in R&R, just like I do in the other apps, the new settings are not used. I can^t duplex or staple. Is there something that I^m missing? Does R&R have any special method to selecting those setting for a print job?____Thanks!____Carrie Crain__Crain Consulting & Design

There is currently not a way to access those printer functions in R&R even though other applications including other report writers who will remain un-named can.______Kathleen__R&R Support

So the applications that do work with it, such as Word, Adobe Reader, etc. actually have to be able ^accept^ or recognize the print settings even though the settings are made in the printer setup not in the page setup within the application?____Carrie Crain__Crain Consulting & Design

__Kathleen,____I have been trying to figure out how get R&R 9.0 to do duplex printint (which is a requirement for my current project). Are you saying that there is no way to do this? Very disapointing....______

We have found that if you set the printer properties to print duplex in the window^s printer properties setup, when you go to R&R it will use the duplex printing setting. The downside of this is that it will print everything duplex until you change the settings once again in the window^s printer setup.
