How do I
I have a .dbf datafile (file1)and a R&R report that processes against it. Everything wroks perfectly. Now, I have another .dbf datafile (file2) that has the same structure and field names and indexes as the File1. I want to run the report against file2. Everything I try, indicates that the calculated fields in the report will be erased. Surely there is an easy way to clone the report to use the different datafile. Thanks in advance for any help.____Rick Johnson____ps. Yes, I could rename the files and juggle them back and forth, but that is not too good for me. And I have over 30 calculation in the report. I tried using an Alias, but this did not work.

If the table has the same structure, then you should be able to swap files successfully. When you do edit the calc in question, what appears to be wrong with the expression when the new table is used?____Kathleen__R&R Support

==> RE: How do I
When I go into databases and specify the new file, the index, and what type of match, then click OK, I get a box that says the following calculations (a list is given) will be deleted. I can click OK or cancel. Some of the calculations are true calculations and some are totals.____Thanks for your answers. I really appreciate it.____RJ

Kathleen, __Thanks for your offer to look at my files. I decided to go back and look one more time and found that one field was not spelled the same (transposition) and of course, several data elements came from that field. So, all is now right with the world. ____Thanks again.
