Logical line printing

Post by Jez_(Guest) » Wed Feb 20, 2002 12:25 pm

I^m trying to stop data printing by using a logical expression created using a pre-processed totalled field. I know you can^t use this field to query on, but it seems you can^t use it to logically print either as it gets ignored. Any reason why?____V8.1____Jez

What is the reset level of the total?__What band line type are you trying to control?__Does the report have other pre-processed totals? At what reset level are these?______Kathleen__R&R Support

Everything is based on a total from group 1. Not sure what you mean by band line type. There is only one other total in the report and that is on group 2.____Jez

Then you should be able to logically print based on the total.__I just created a report that sorts and groups by date and has a pre-processed sum of orders for that date. I created a calc with expression ordtot>=10 and used that a the logical field for a date group footer. My report then corrects prints only those days that have ten or more orders.____Kathleen__R&R Support
