RRWRUN AND WINDOWS XP

:-( I use R&R 9.0 Build 9.0.009, CA-VO 2.5b, XP and HP laserJet 1000 on USB port____My problem is very unusual. When I try to print report with rrwrun.exe XP show me a message Error on RRWRUN.EXE AppVer. 9.0.9.0 modul winspool.drv ...., but not with all reports in the same CA-VO applications. Some reports works, some don^t. I try to delete CDINTF.DLL, but with any success ... Every thing works excellent with Win95, Win 98, Win2000.__

I have the same problem and i sent a message some days ago (see "Report Writer And WinXP"). I^m waiting for news from support. They say that there are no problems with XP but ......

Michele, ____I saw your post earlier. Did you try the fix that Kathleen suggested and are you still getting the error? I did a search for the CDINTF.DLL mentioned and renamed them both. there are TWO, one in each of the following directories____c:program filesR&R Report Writer__c:program filesR&R Report Writerdelphi____I have not had any "Send Microsoft Error Report" errors since.____Give me some more information and I will see if I can offer some suggestions. ____Using XP Pro? Did you install from an administrative account? and are you using the program from a power user or administrative account?____________

The error i found is with WinXP Home. I don^t know if the error message is shown by WinXP or by VFox 7 (the language of my app) but there are no doubt that the error is the same Marko described.____Now i^ve seen that the error is not diaplayed with an older version of RRWRUN and i^ll test this solution as soon as possibile on my customer^s pc.____When i install my app on customer pc i have not CDINTF.DLL (i don^t install this file) and i have not the folders you speak ( these are on my pc where i create my reports)____If it runs ok, i think there is a problem with RRWRUN in the last version.____Thanks__

I FOUND THE SOLUTION !!!____It does work with RRWRUN.EXE from R&R version 9.0 Build 9.0.005 from__28.03.2001 !!____It seem that something is wrong with newer RRWRUN.EXE. Kathleen help us ... ____Marko

RRWRUN.EXE from R&R version 9.0 Build 9.0.005 from__28.03.2001 !! is on the original instalation CD of R&R ver. 9.0
