Getting R&R 7 to recognize printers

Post by Bill_Samuel » Wed Mar 06, 2002 9:17 am

I have R&R 7 Xbase edition. I am running it on a Win98SE system. It is installed as a standalone application. All the printers available to me are network printers. It does not seem to recognize that there are printers. Print and Print Preview are greyed out. Page Setup does not work. In Default Settings, Paper Size doesn^t offer any options. How can I get it setup so I can print?__

Try setting up a local printer (such as the generic text one) even if it does not really exist and see if that shows up in R&R.____Do you indeed have one of the available printers set as a Default printer?____Kathleen__R&R Support

>Try setting up a local printer (such as the generic text __>one) even if it does not really exist and see if that shows __>up in R&R. ____I tried both setting up a non-existent generic text local printer and a new real network printer. Neither had any effect on R&R. Printer still greyed out.____>Do you indeed have one of the available printers set as a __>Default printer? ____Yes. I have a network printer set up as my default printer, and it is recognized by every other Windows program I have.__
