Starting a blank report

how come when I start a blank report in version 9 the view and print icons are greyed out. If I use instant reports or wizard the icons are highlighted?

Does this only happen if start R&R and create a blank report immediately?____What if you have previously opened a report in that session?____What O/S are you running?____Kathleen__R&R Support

IT ONLY HAPPENS WHEN I TRY TO CREATE A BLANK REPORT IMMEDIATELY____NO PROBLEM WHEN ALREADY IN A SESSION____WINDOWS 98 - IS THE O/S

I just reproduced the problem on a test machine so it does look like a bug.____I will let you know when we have a fix.
