General Protection Fault
I^m writing a fairly complex report using R&R SQL Version 6.5.08. The report runs for about 20 minutes sorting but as soon as it starts to export data it crashes with a message "RSWEXE An error has occurred" and ther option to Close or Ignore the error, of which only Close does anything. The program then says it has performed an illegal operation and under details shows the information below:-____RSWEXE caused a general protection fault__in module RSW.EXE at 0015:00002fb3.__Registers:__EAX=00000000 CS=608f EIP=00002fb3 EFLGS=00000286__EBX=0001db6d SS=4b9f ESP=0000dafe EBP=0000db10__ECX=0000ffff DS=4b9f ESI=0000fff9 FS=0000__EDX=81660000 ES=0000 EDI=0000ea59 GS=0000__Bytes at CS:EIP:__26 c6 04 00 8d 46 f2 16 50 8d 44 fe 89 46 fa 8c __Stack dump:__0000e790 4c280000 4b9f453a 0000fff9 db1f4b9f 608f3002 9a9f5834 4b9fdb6d 5e49db7b 5834608f db689a9f ea59e790 00001f40 a14c0000 58311a3f 00009a9f ____Please could anyone suggest how I might get around this problem?

You could try selecting a different export option or upgrading to Version 9. ______Kathleen__R&R Support

We are a charity and the cost of upgrading our 5 user license to version 9.0 is too great, especially if the only reason for the upgrade is to correct a bug. I would have hoped that if a bug was the problem a free fix would be available.

I^m also told by others who have upgraded that SQL V9.0 no longer allows reports to be held in seperate folders which is a backward step as far as we are concerned.
