Access Violation running PDF^s Ver9

Post by simonec_(Guest) » Mon Apr 08, 2002 12:50 pm

Using a script file and running reports from a command line using RRWRUN (version 9) to create a PDF output file, I^m getting an access violation. The error happens on a machine that does not have version 9 installed but does have the distribution files based on the document for distributing reports for version 9. ____The system that I use has version 9 and can run the PDF^s without errors. The machines that don^t have version 9 do have version 8.1. What are the files and DLL^s that are needed to run PDF^s using RRWRUN from a command line. ____Also does R&R install files into the windows directory that my system has that the others don^t. All systems are running Windows NT 4.0.____Would appreciate any help.

The NT user needs to have sufficient rights to install the R&R PDF printer driver if you are indeed using the R&R driver to create the PDF.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Kathleen,____Thanks for your response. Do you know what the PDF drivers are. Would this driver be installed by Windows or is this an R&R driver.____

The PDF driver file that comes with R&R (R&R PDF Export)is installed from the file CDINTF.DLL that would be in the R&R program directory.____Kathleen__R&R Support
