Using rr9 runtime from a Clipper app.____The NT event log is filling with error:__RRWrun.exe application error occurred.____Site runs over 800 reports per day.__Users access app via 4 metaframes.____Users do not see this error on 3 of the metaframes.__It is seen on one.____It does not always occur.__But it eventually causes the Citrix server to reboot itself.__Not good :(____The client spoke with Kathleen who mentioned something about ri_wptr in the control file causing a problem. A ? is sent to runtime and the user chooses the printer for all reports.____Any other ideas.____-Jeannie

If the problem is only intermittent, then it sure is difficult to identify the actual cause/solution.__If it works on 3 and is bad on one, then something has to be different on the bad guy. Sorry to not be able to provide more insight.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Problem occurs on _all_ metaframes, just surfaces to user on one.__And from the numbers, it appear to occur about 90% of the time.__What was the ri_wprtr about???__In general, what could cause the NT event log to be written with an error on rrwrun? ____-Jeannie

Have you tried setting ri_wptr to "DEFAULT" so it will use the default printer for each station?____Pat__
