Label printing problems

Post by Rich_DiLoreto » Mon Jul 15, 2002 5:01 pm

Using version R+R Xbase version 8.0____I am trying to print a label to a Intermec 3400E series printer using there supllied driver. I am using Win2000 SP2. ____I have a lable that id 1.5 in by .75 in.____They are peel off with a .375 in break in between labels.____I have a problem I need help on. It seems that R+R will automatically send a page feed to a printer whenever a report is run. This seems to cause me to print on a label, then skip the next, then print on the following label. This causes me to lose lable. I need to be able to print on every label. Do you have any suggestions on how to supress any page feed or ejects in R+R. I do not have any in the report.____Thanks__Rich DiLoreto____

Create a custom page size in the printer driver that is 1.5 in by .75 in.__Then select that page size in R&R in File Page Setup.__In Format Record layout, use those same dimensions for your record layout.__This should give you the desired result.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Rich,____Just curious... did Kathleen^s suggestion solve your problem?____I have a similar problem. I^ve created the custom, user-defined form, and the printer still advances 11 inches after printing a 3.5 inch long label.____Please advise.____cal
