R&R Export to Excel

Post by MPR_(Guest) » Wed Oct 30, 2002 11:56 am

Hello all,____What is R&R v10 capability to export data to an Excel worksheet? I am creating reports using DBF files and would like to export those reports directly to Excel 2000. The reports have titles that span multiple columns as well as column headings.____My reading so far says that R&R v10 exports to Excel in the form of a pivot table. Sounds to me like the next step in that process is to have an Excel macro move data from the pivot table to a worksheet, then add the title information. ____I^d like to avoid building the Excel macro. Any comments?____Thanks____Mike

If you want to export just a single band line, Worksheet export will do that and will include the field names as column headers.____But it sounds like you want the entire formatted report to output to an XLS? Is that correct?____Kathleen__R&R Support

Kathleen,____Yes, your assumption is correct. Report will contain title information as well as records. (number of records is variable, could be thousands)____Thanks in advance for any insights.____Mike__
