Exporting to Excel

Post by Eddie_Marshall » Tue Nov 05, 2002 10:15 am

Time and time again our clients wish to have all their reports fully exportable to Excel. The only problem is that a lot of them are complicated and have a number of different types of lines. It would be great if you could export the whole of a report to Excel, not just one type of line at a time.____Is there any timescale for the inclusion of this enhancement? It would really give our clients an extra confidence boost in R&R.____Eddie Marshall__Technical Support Manager__LandMaster__eddie@landmaster.co.uk

We have not firmed up anything that might get included in the next major release of R&R. Certainly Crystal currently has the competitive advantage on export to Excel and we do not want to force users to migrate to Crystal to get functionality that R&R lacks.______Kathleen__R&R Support

Yes, but R&R is still the most powerful report writer on the market. Crystal isn^t a patch on it. It^s just that a proper export to Excel would make R&R unbeatable!
