RTF exporting problem
When I am exporting to RTF, the data will export fine, except that the data will only cover 3/4 of the page. For example, if I run a report that is 10 pages if run in R&R, then it exports to 13 pages in MS Word or Wordpad. I have checked the page sizes in each of the applications, as well as the margins. They are the same. It is not the header or footer, as I can type 20 more lines under the exported data if I want. Anybody have any ideas?____Chris Culbreth__chris.culbreth@viromedatl.com

Do you have a page footer band line in the report?__If not, try adding one.____Regards,__Kathleen__R&R Support

LAST EDITED ON May-31-01 AT 02:37 PM (EST)[p]Yes, I have 2 page footer lines in the reports. I should have mentioned that this is not occurring in a single report, but across all the reports I try to export to RTF. These reports are very diverse, with some having nothing but records and others with 4 different grouping tiers. Some have summaries and others have only page footers.____I also should have mentioned that when I try to change the line spacing of the export in Word, say from single to 1.5, the page breaks are the same. For example, i fi export a report that lists incremental numbers per line, lets say the last number of the page in the RTF export is 50. If I highlight the report and change the line spacing to 1.5 or 2, 50 will be the last number on the page no matter where it appears, even at the top of a page. This leads me to believe that the export is including page breaks that are specified after a certain number of records. If this is the case, can it ba changed?____Chris

What page size/printer driver are you using?____Kathleen__R&R Support

====> RE: RTF exporting problem
I am printing on 8.5 x 11 paper, with the printer being set at the same. I am using the standard HP printer drivers for the 4050 laser printer. Also, I should mention that on these reports, I am printing the page number at the bottom of the page, and it exports correctly, about a quarter inch from the bottom. The space is between the data and the page number.

Can you try using a HP6 driver and see if it helps at all?____Kathleen
