Memory could not be read - Error

Post by DavidR_(Guest) » Wed Feb 26, 2003 8:23 am

My client has been running Version 9 reports with Report Viewer on machines with Windows 95 & 98 without any problems.____Now that he has started to introduce new machines with Windows 2000 there is an error message when he tries to print from the Report Viewer:-____The instruction at ^<address>^ referenced memory at ^<address>^. The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the Program.____How do we get round this problem? Will Version 10 fix it?____DavidR

I am also having this problem with Version 8.0 Xbase Edition. I also checked to see if CDINTF.DLL was present, and it is not. Any additional help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The default printer is a Lexmark T620 PS3 which is used as the network printer for Windows 98 and Windows 2000.____We are not using a runtime control file.____The user has a Report Viewer shortcut on his desktop which list a selection of reports for his jobs. He selects a report which is previewed on screen, when he clicks print icon he gets the error message.____Basically we cannot print reports from any of the three Windows 2000 machines, so we now have to use a slave PC running under Windows 98 which prints ok to the default Lexmark printer.____DavidR______
